The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nino uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Nino drives through and clinches with Sonnen against the cage.
Sonnen has Nino pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Nino manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Nino comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

It looks like Chael Sonnen has been cut.
Nino lands a damaging elbow.
Sonnen takes an elbow to the forehead.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Nino lands a vicious elbow to the side of Sonnen's head that scrambles his senses and sends him wobbling down to the canvas! Nino tries to finish him with strikes but Sonnen still seems able to defend himself so Nino steps back and lets Sonnen get back to his feet - he wants no part of the ground game.

Sonnen is rocked!
Nino moves in close and cracks Sonnen with a massive right hand! Sonnen, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Nino!
