Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gross takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Gross tries to clinch there but Newell circles away.
Declan Newell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Newell lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Newell jabs Gross right on the nose. Gross blinks but takes it well.
It looks like Seth Gross has been cut.
Newell swings for the body but Gross moves out of range.
Gross looks to land a combination. Newell sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Declan Newell has been cut.
Nice defenses there by Gross.
Gross lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gross takes one to the chin there.
Newell misses with a wild combination.
Gross throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Newell stumbling backwards into the cage! Newell bounces back off the cage towards Gross, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Gross lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Gross celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
