Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Maxwell Kegele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pabst Ribbon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kegele comes to the cage accompanied by The Soulforged. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Maxwell Kegele!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pabst Ribbon!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ribbon swings for the body but Kegele moves out of range.
Ribbon looks to land a left hand but Kegele moved out of range nicely.
Kegele slips under a jab.
Ribbon circles away from the clinch attempt.
Ribbon thows a body shot but no joy.
Kegele misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Kegele throws a right and a left that both miss.
Donk. Ribbon catches Kegele right on the button with a cross.
Kegele tries to clinch but Ribbon moves out of range.

Ribbon drops Kegele with a left right combo! Ribbon follows him down to the ground into side control.


It looks like Maxwell Kegele has been cut.
Ribbon controls the position from side control.
Kegele looking for a sweep but Ribbon has passed into full mount! Oh no!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kegele is in all sorts of trouble here.
Ribbon takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kegele flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kegele is in all sorts of trouble here.
Kegele wants to control but Ribbon is having none of it.
Ribbon landing strikes from the mount and Kegele is in trouble!
Ribbon controlling from mount.
Ribbon landing strikes, looking to finish!
Ribbon working the ground and pound effectively.
Kegele holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Ribbon tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Kegele tries to hold on but Ribbon postures up.
Ribbon controlling from the full mount.
Kegele is trying desperately to improve position.
Ribbon tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Kegele is trying to escape the mount.
Kegele tries to hold on but Ribbon postures up.
Kegele is looking to get to half guard.
Ribbon content just to control the position here.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Kegele really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Ribbon landing punches.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pabst Ribbon dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Maxwell Kegele's cut.
That's time! Kegele's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Ribbon pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Ribbon circles away from the clinch attempt.
Ribbon misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kegele.
Ribbon sizes up Kegele with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Ribbon scores with a hook to the body. Kegele takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Ribbon drops Kegele with a big left hand and mounts him. Kegele is in big trouble!


Kegele is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ribbon controlling from the full mount.
Oh Kegele is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kegele is trying to stand.
Ribbon putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Kegele seems to have got his legs back now.
Kegele is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Ribbon takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Despite being in the dominant position, Pabst Ribbon just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Ribbon swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

A left lands for Ribbon.
Nice defenses there by Kegele.
Ribbon fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.


Kegele is rocked!


Maxwell Kegele's cut is getting worse.
Ribbon throws a pinpoint strike between Kegele's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Kegele crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Ribbon scores a great knockout victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Pabst Ribbon!
