The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body kick there by Hammer.
Hammer connects with a solid leg kick.
Phony takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Hammer lands a high kick to the side of Phony's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Hammer dives into guard, looking to finish.

It looks like Bony Phony has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hammer won't allow Phony to sweep him here.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Hammer throws a leg kick which misses Phony's front leg but catches the back leg as Phony tries to avoid it.
Hammer misses with a head kick.
Hammer cracks the inside of Phony's front leg.
Hammer scores with a nice body kick.
Both fighters circling a little - Hammer finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Hammer throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Hammer throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hammer tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Phony takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
