The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duke swinging wildly here.
Duke misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Duke tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Chapmen was well out of range. Poor timing from Duke.
Duke avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Chapmen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Duke paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Duke swats away the attempt to clinch by Chapmen.
Chapmen doesn't manage to clinch there - Duke circles away.
Chapmen avoids the head kick by Duke.
Duke takes a swing at Chapmen's ribcage but misses.
Duke throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Chapmen misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Chapmen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Duke moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Duke throws a sloppy head kick and Chapmen moves out of range easily.
Chapmen ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Duke slips a jab and a cross from Chapmen.

Chapmen displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Duke throws out the jab.

Duke tries for a takedown but Chapmen sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Chapmen fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Chapmen moves in looking to clinch but Duke pushes him off.
Chapmen slaps away a takedown attempt from Duke, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Freddy Chapmen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Puppy Duke.
Chapmen wants to clinch up but Duke keeps it at a distance.

Duke fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Chapmen sprawls well initially but Duke persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Duke wants to work for an arm triangle but Chapmen is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Chapmen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Duke on the ground.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Chapmen's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Chapmen duly obliges.
Chapmen uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Duke.

Chapmen throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Duke.
A lazy left from Duke finds it's target.

and Duke takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Duke drops Chapmen with a beautiful combination! Chapmen stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Duke is looking for the KO!

Chapmen is rocked!
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Duke throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Chapmen is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
