The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Szakalaka shoots in for a takedown but St Pierre shows good takedown defense.
St Pierre fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
St Pierre lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Szakalaka sprawling to the canvas. St Pierre follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Szakalaka hang on?
Szakalaka is rocked!
It looks like Fanta Szakalaka has been cut.
St Pierre lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Szakalaka quite badly. Szakalaka pulls St Pierre in close trying to recover. St Pierre postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Szakalaka on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Szakalaka doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
