The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cash throws a nice looking combination but Assunicao bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Cash misses with a jab, cross combination.
Assunicao throws a looping overhand right but Cash ducks down to avoid it.
Cash moves in looking to clinch but Assunicao pushes him off.
A combination from Cash does no damage.
Cash swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A punch combination from Cash misses.

Assunicao closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Assunicao lands in his opponent's guard.

Cash pushes Assunicao off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
The fight stays on the outside here - Cash looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Ante Cash seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Assunicao shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Assunicao was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Assunicao has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cash tries to reverse the position but Assunicao maintains control.
Cash is still in real trouble! Can Assunicao finish him?
Assunicao mounts Cash! Really nice guard pass there!
Cash seems to have recovered his senses.

Assunicao moves to the back position.
Assunicao is looking to control Cash but Cash is wriggling around and keeping busy.

Assunicao is cranking Cash's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Cash! He's tightened the choke and Cash is tapping out!
