The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kongo throws a solid leg kick but Swoop takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Kongo.

Swoop shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Kongo is trying to stand.
Swoop throwing strikes here but Kongo is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Kongo is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Swoop accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Kongo won't allow Swoop to pass to mount.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Kongo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Swoop holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Swoop misses with a short punch on the inside.
Kongo is looking to control Swoop's arms but Swoop gets an underhook and turns him. Now Kongo has his back to the cage.
Swoop is trying to break the clinch but Kongo has him pressed against the cage.
Kongo doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Swoop struggles to land a body shot inside as Kongo controls his hands.
A short body shot lands from Kongo as the two fighters clinch.
Swoop tries to pull guard but Kongo holds him up against the cage and eventually Swoop drops back down to his feet.
A right hook to the body lands for Kongo.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Mathew Swoop will probably get the nod.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Swoop tightens his grip and picks Kongo up, before dumping him to the ground. Kongo manages to land in guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Swoop controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Kongo kicks Swoop off and gets to his feet.
Lasse Kongo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Kongo is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Kongo swings wildly with an uppercut but Swoop uses good head movement to avoid it.

Swoop gets control of Kongo's arms and successfully pulls guard. Swoop will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Mathew Swoop is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
