The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manai fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Manai throws a head kick that misses.
Soza blocks a head kick by Manai.
Manai shoots for a double leg takedown but Soza sprawls well. He's pushed Manai's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Soza stuffs the takedown.
Bob Soza has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Julius Manai.
Manai tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Soza swivels and escapes.
Manai tries to clinch up but Soza circles away and keeps his distance.
Manai takes a kick to the side of the head.

It looks like Julius Manai has been cut.
Manai shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Soza as he avoids it easily.
Manai looks to land a right hand but Soza moved out of range.
Manai throws a lazy head kick
enabling Soza to counter with a crisp jab.
Manai tries to clinch up
and Soza counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Manai misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Manai throws a sloppy head kick
and Soza counters with a monster head kick that knocks Manai out cold! He topples like fallen a tree, crashing to the mat! Timbeeeeeerrr!
