Minard's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, I Against I. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Minard connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Hideki momentarily.

It looks like Ryuga Hideki has been cut.
Hideki wants to clinch up but Minard keeps it at a distance.
Minard misses with a head kick.
Nice straight punches there by Minard. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Minard.
Hideki looks gassed!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hideki takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Minard lands a big uppercut and Hideki crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Hideki looks OK. Minard waves Hideki back to his feet!

Minard connects with a superb combination that knocks Hideki out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Minard before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Hideki!
