West comes to the ring accompanied by The All-American Rejects - It Ends Tonight . Sato has chosen ''A Passage In Time'' by Authority Zero as his entrance music. Joe West has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Akifumi Sato!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Kenichi Hosakawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
West fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Sato wants to clinch up but West keeps it at a distance.
West bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Sato shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. West defends it nicely.
Sato on the wrong end of a nice jab.
West lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sato dives in and grabs West's left leg, looking for a takedown. West pushes down on Sato's head and hops out.
West tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Sato takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Sato looks gassed!
West thumps Sato with a low kick.
Sato has a takedown stuffed.
Joe West has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Akifumi Sato.
West connects with a nice looking jab.
West scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Sato is rocked!
West cracks Sato on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Sato falls backwards against the ropes. West follows up with more strikes that drop Sato to his knees. West keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Sato! This one is all over!
