Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Felix Gaeta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Douglas Augusto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Gaeta might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to B.Y.O.B.. The crowd seem to be enjoying Augusto's choice of entrance music: Drowning Pool - Let The Bodies Hit The Floor. Felix Gaeta has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gaeta gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Gaeta has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Augusto is trying to keep an underhook but Gaeta manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Gaeta is looking for a kimura but Augusto is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Gaeta to get the leverage.

Gaeta is looking to take a break and control but Augusto is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Gaeta drops back, looking for a kneebar! Augusto looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Augusto looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Augusto!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Gaeta tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Augusto wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Gaeta dives in and grabs Augusto's left leg, looking for a takedown. Augusto pushes down on Gaeta's head and hops out.

Gaeta is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Augusto doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Gaeta.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Gaeta has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Augusto works to full guard.

Augusto lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Gaeta tries to lock up and control but Augusto gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Horrible takedown by Augusto or perhaps it was just good defense by Gaeta which made him look bad.

Gaeta lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Augusto!
Augusto suckers Gaeta into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! Augusto is now in Gaeta's guard!

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Augusto is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Gaeta has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Augusto is looking to defend but Gaeta has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Augusto! Gaeta pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Augusto taps out and this one is all over!
