Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Paolo Da Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quer Tajik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Da Silva kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Capoeira do Brasil (Sergio Mendes & Brazil 66). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tajik swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A decent looking cross lands there for Da Silva.

Da Silva scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Da Silva looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Da Silva is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Tajik knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Da Silva goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Tajik rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Da Silva's guard! Nice work there by Tajik!
Tajik controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Da Silva escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Tajik gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Tajik seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Tajik loads up on a big right hand but Da Silva slips the punch.

Tajik throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Tajik takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Tajik lands a big right hand that sends Da Silva crashing to the mat! Tajik stays standing though and waves Da Silva back to his feet!

It looks like Paolo Da Silva has been cut.
Tajik throws a series of punches but Da Silva avoids them all with ease.
Oh Da Silva is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Da Silva bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Tajik ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Da Silva seems to have got his legs back now.

Da Silva throws out a loose jab but Tajik uses good head movement to avoid it.

Tajik misses with an uppercut. Da Silva saw that one coming.

Tajik throws a nice looking combination but Da Silva bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Da Silva wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Da Silva shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Tajik tries to hold on but Da Silva postures up.

Tajik sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Da Silva is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.

Da Silva postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Tajik is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Da Silva, into his guard.
Tajik wants to control from the top but Da Silva keeps moving.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Da Silva has an active guard here but Tajik has managed to pass into half guard.
Tajik is trying to control the action in half guard but Da Silva is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Tajik ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Da Silva moves away.
Da Silva misses the jab.
Da Silva takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Da Silva misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Nice defenses there by Tajik.
Tajik ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Da Silva has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Tajik finds it's way round the side to connect with Da Silva's head.
Da Silva tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Da Silva slips a jab and a cross from Tajik.
Tajik keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Da Silva fails with a takedown attempt.
Tajik throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Da Silva sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Da Silva takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Tajik rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Da Silva moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Tajik drops his hands momentarily and Da Silva takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Tajik throws a shot from downtown. Da Silva moves away and avoids it.
Tajik grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Da Silva takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Tajik cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
