Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brad O Brien (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and karva perse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, karva perse!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

O Brien clinches.
perse scores with a shot to the side of O Brien's head.

perse jumps into guard, dragging O Brien to the mat.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
O Brien stops perse from standing up.
O Brien postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
perse keeping moving, preventing O Brien from controlling successfully.
perse wants to stand but O Brien is controlling the position.
perse is trying to control the position from the bottom.
O Brien will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
O Brien trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
O Brien has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

perse is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
perse changes levels and goes for a takedown here. O Brien fights it off and pushes away nicely.
perse looks to land a combination but O Brien avoids it well.

That's one minute gone in the round.
O Brien doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
O Brien lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but perse circles away quickly and effectively.
perse will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

O Brien swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and perse counters with a three punch combo that has O Brien backing up. O Brien nods at perse to acknowledge the strikes.
O Brien misses with a combination
letting perse counter with a right hand.

perse lands with a big left! O Brien is wobbled badly! perse comes in with a flurry of punches and drops O Brien to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
