Sander has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Roger Sander could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Matthew Johnson's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Sander looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Still in half guard, Johnson seems content to control.
Johnson seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

I looks like Johnson might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Johnson is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Sander is in real trouble.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
