PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jay Derman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Churko Cridell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Columbo Gatti and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cridell shoots in but no luck this time.
Cridell displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Derman.

Derman throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cridell's waist but Cridell gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Derman off to one side.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jay Derman will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Derman, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
