The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kumpulainen shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Morientes pinned against the cage. Morientes gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Morientes stuffs the takedown attempt from Kumpulainen. Kumpulainen gets slowly back to his feet.
Kumpulainen tries to clinch but Morientes moves out of range.
Morientes looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Kumpulainen!
Kumpulainen is controlling an arm, preventing Morientes from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Morientes looking to secure an arm triangle but Kumpulainen defends it well.
Morientes fails to advance to Kumpulainen's back.
Morientes is working for a guillotine from mount but Kumpulainen frees his head quite easily.

Morientes looking to isolate an arm here. Kumpulainen doesn't see it coming and as Morientes extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Morientes!
