Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucien Smalls (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackson Alessio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Smalls might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Kelis - Milkshake. Alessio is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Metallica- Enter Sandman. The key to victory for Lucien Smalls has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Alessio closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Alessio tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Smalls wants to control but Alessio postures up.
Smalls is not content to let Alessio control the position.

Alessio has hold of Smalls's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Smalls tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Alessio cranks the arm and Smalls screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Smalls, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
