The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lander throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Volkhov misses with a wild body shot.
Nice uppercut there from Volkhov.
Lander swinging wildly here.
Lander thows a body shot but no joy.
Volkhov throws a leg kick but Lander sees it coming and moves out of range.
Lander looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Volkhov throws a sloppy body shot
letting Lander counter with a right hand.
A low kick from Volkhov misses
and Lander counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Volkhov loads up on a big right hand but Lander slips the punch.
Nice shot by Lander.
Lander throws a nice looking combination but Volkhov bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Ice Lander is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Volkhov closes the distance but Lander moves to the side
and Lander counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Ice Lander seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lander scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
The fighters circle momentarily. Volkhov darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Lander throws a jab when Volkhov was well out of range.
Lander fails to land with a series of punches.
Lander misses with a wild body shot.
Lander catches Volkhov with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Volkhov throws a leg kick
and Lander counters with a series of strikes that really hurt Volkhov! The ref looks into his eyes and sees nobody home - he's called the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ice Lander!
