Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny The Badass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Shrimp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Badass comes to the cage accompanied by Bad to the Bone. Shrimp has chosen drowning pool-step up as his entrance music. James Shrimp will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Badass shoots in for a double leg but Shrimp sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
The Badass takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

It looks like Johnny The Badass has been cut.
Shrimp lands with a good body shot.
Shrimp tries a head kick but it misses.

The Badass lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Shrimp backs up against the cage.

The Badass stuns Shrimp with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

The Badass closes the distance and clinches up with Shrimp, looking for a takedown. The Badass pushes Shrimp against the cage but Shrimp circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Shrimp might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
