The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Suzano throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Khan sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Suzano shoots in but Khan avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Suzano fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Suzano lands a left and a right that sends Khan crashing to the canvas! Suzano dives into mount looking to finish!
Khan is rocked!
It looks like Gengis Khan has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Suzano content just to control the position here.
Oh Khan is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Suzano loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Khan scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Suzano land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Suzano stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alex Suzano!
