Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Ackerman and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ricketts 's waist but Ricketts gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Guy off to one side.
Ricketts throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Another Guy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Guy tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Horrible takedown by Guy or perhaps it was just good defense by Ricketts which made him look bad.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ricketts defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Guy.

I looks like Guy might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Ricketts wants to get back to his feet.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Guy shoots in for a takedown but Ricketts shows good takedown defense.
Guy feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Ricketts is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Guy is controlling him.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Ricketts moves into range and clinches up with Guy.
Guy has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Ricketts avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Guy tries to score a body lock takedown but Ricketts shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Ricketts is trying to break the clinch but Guy is controlling him.

Ricketts is fighting off a takedown attempt but Guy is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Ricketts to the mat. Ricketts regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Ricketts has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Ricketts wants to get up but he can't break Guy's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Guy has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Ricketts doesn't defend quickly enough and Guy has managed to lock this one up! Can Ricketts escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Guy on a fantastic submission victory.
