The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrov misses with a few strikes there.
Artem Petrov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Auditore digs a good hook to Petrov's body.
Petrov throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Auditore.
Petrov throws a lazy body kick
and Auditore counters with an inside leg kick.
Auditore throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Petrov avoids the head kick by Auditore.
Auditore bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Petrov's head backwards.

It looks like Artem Petrov has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Auditore feints and then cracks Petrov's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Petrov down.
Petrov is breathing heavily.
Look low, kick high! Auditore uses the oldest trick in the book to send Petrov tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Auditore is absolutely delighted - when Petrov wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
