Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Iker Casillas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Butt Reynolds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Iker Casillas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Butt Reynolds! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Leandro Rodrigues and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice sprawl there from Reynolds as Casillas shoots in. Casillas shoots in for a takedown but Reynolds shows good takedown defense. Nice takedown defense from Reynolds. No joy for Casillas on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Iker Casillas. That's going to take a lot out of him. Excellent takedown into side control there by Reynolds. Casillas struggling a bit here. Casillas sneaks back into half guard. Reynolds wants to free his trapped foot but Casillas is holding on for dear life with his legs. Reynolds is thwarting Casillas's attempts to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Casillas tries to roll over but Reynolds keeps him under control. Reynolds seems to be looking for submissions.

Casillas is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Casillas working a defensive guard but Reynolds passes into half guard.
Casillas works his way to full guard. Good work. Reynolds postures up.
Reynolds is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Casillas isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Reynolds stacks Casillas on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Reynolds! Reynolds working the ground and pound but Casillas is defending the strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Casillas is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Reynolds off and has taken his back! Casillas looking to finish the fight with a rear naked choke. Reynolds is controlling Casillas 's left arm and he spins nicely into guard. Casillas trying to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Casillas escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Reynolds gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Reynolds stopping the sweep attempt from Casillas. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Casillas is on top in guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Casillas trying to control the position from guard on top but Reynolds is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Iker Casillas will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Casillas tries for a takedown but Reynolds circles away easily and Reynolds counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Reynolds prevents Casillas from improving his position. Casillas makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Casillas. Casillas looking for a guillotine here but Reynolds defends easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. Casillas is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Casillas looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Reynolds is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Casillas is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Casillas has escaped and now he's on top! Reynolds really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Casillas. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Casillas trying to control the position from guard on top but Reynolds is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Casillas wants to control from the top but Reynolds keeps moving. Casillas works a leg free and moves into half guard. Reynolds is breathing heavily. Reynolds is refusing to be controlled, as Casillas sits in half guard. Casillas is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Reynolds is just riding it out for now. Casillas eventually gives up the hold.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reynolds wants to improve his position but Casillas is controlling well.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Reynolds is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Casillas is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Reynolds doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Casillas. Casillas wants to control but Reynolds is keeping him busy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Iker Casillas will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Reynolds gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Casillas counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Reynolds's guard now. Casillas seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Casillas trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Casillas passes easily into side control. Nice work. Casillas wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Reynolds, who protects the arm well. Casillas thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's one minute gone in the round. Casillas trying to control the position but Reynolds is working away. Casillas goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Reynolds has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Casillas but great work by Reynolds. Reynolds tries for a kimura but Casillas is defending well. Reynolds takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Casillas is positioning himself to get back to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Casillas is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Casillas looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Reynolds pushes past his half guard into mount! Casillas sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Casillas looking for submissions off his back. Casillas wants to get back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Casillas is working hard here to advance position. Casillas has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Reynolds is working away from the top position though. Casillas looking for subs from the bottom but Reynolds mounts him! Casillas tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Casillas wants to control but Reynolds is having none of it. Iker Casillas overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Casillas bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Casillas is posturing up here but Reynolds has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Casillas tries to roll out but it's too tight and Casillas has to tap! Slick submission there by Reynolds!
