Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Strep Agalactaciae (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Oaken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oaken has chosen Guerilla Radio as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Agalactaciae fakes the leg kick and cracks Oaken in the body. Oaken stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Agalactaciae. A nice inside leg kick there by Agalactaciae. That's going to slow Oaken down. Oaken looks gassed! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Agalactaciae lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Danny Oaken has been cut. Agalactaciae lands a nice leg kick that just misses Oaken's sensitive parts. Oaken gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Agalactaciae pushing down on Oaken's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Agalactaciae is pressing down on Oaken's thigh, looking to free his foot. Oaken is holding on for now. Oaken looking for submissions off his back. Agalactaciae passes to side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oaken stops Agalactaciae from passing to mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Agalactaciae thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Agalactaciae misses with the ground and pound. Oaken manages to work his way to half guard, despite Agalactaciae's best efforts. Agalactaciae knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Oaken on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Oaken looking for subs from the bottom but Agalactaciae mounts him! Oaken keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Oaken is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Agalactaciae has hold of Oaken's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Oaken manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Oaken is looking to get to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Agalactaciae has control of Oaken's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Oaken regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Oaken really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Oaken slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Agalactaciae moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Oaken. Oaken throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Oaken is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Agalactaciae off and has taken his back! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Strep Agalactaciae dominated that round. The cut man is working on Danny Oaken's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Oaken doesn't succeed with the takedown and Agalactaciae counters with a big head kick but Oaken shrugs it off. A combination from Agalactaciae does no damage. Oaken with a poor takedown and Agalactaciae counters with a good, hard body kick but Oaken shrugs it off. Agalactaciae gets a takedown into half guard. Agalactaciae works his way into side control. Agalactaciae looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Oaken is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oaken punching from the bottom.
Agalactaciae is pressing down on Oaken's thigh, looking to free his foot. Oaken is holding on for now. Oaken moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Oaken escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Agalactaciae gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Agalactaciae pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Oaken is keeping the position for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Oaken has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Agalactaciae can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Oaken is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Agalactaciae stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Oaken swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Oaken is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Agalactaciae defends well. Oaken will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Agalactaciae tries to free his leg and advance position but Oaken is retaining full guard. Oaken has an active guard here but Agalactaciae has managed to pass into half guard.
Agalactaciae is working for a kimura but Oaken is defending it quite comfortably.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Agalactaciae is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Oaken defends it well. Strep Agalactaciae overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Oaken moves into full guard.
Oaken is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Agalactaciae has his hands clasped together but Oaken extends an breaks Agalactaciae's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Oaken.
