The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Early lands with a nice body kick.
Early throws a leg kick which misses Rosso's front leg but catches the back leg as Rosso tries to avoid it.
A big left from Rosso misses.
Rosso throws a half hearted mid kick.
Early shoots in but Rosso avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Rosso has taken the fight to the clinch.
Rosso leaning against his opponent.
Early wants to break the clinch but can't.

Rosso manages to pull guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rosso looking to hit a scissor sweep but Early is one step ahead there.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rosso is on top in guard.

Rosso connects with a couple of short punches.
Early controls Rosso momentarily but Rosso frees himself.
Early throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

Rosso makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Rosso stops Early from standing up.
Rosso working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Early is still in real trouble! Can Rosso finish him?

Rosso drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Rosso seems to have locked his on tight now - Early screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Rosso, as he picks up the win!
