The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Booke tries to avoid it but Silva manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Booke to the ground. Booke escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Silva.
Silva throws a right hand that Booke ducks under and follows up with a left that Booke also avoids with ease.
Silva fails to land with a series of punches.
Silva lands with a hook. Booke tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Booke lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Silva misses with a few strikes there.
A right-left combo lands from Silva.
Silva looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Booke slips a jab and a cross from Silva.
Silva's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Silva duly obliges.
Silva connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Booke tumbling to the canvas! Silva pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Booke was done - good stoppage!
