Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 1, fighting out of London, Brett Burns!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Chris Keller!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Glass and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keller shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Burns pinned against the cage. Burns gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Keller looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Burns avoids the head kick by Keller.

Keller shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Burns's guard.
Burns is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Burns working for a triangle but Keller defends it easily.
Burns looking to hit a scissor sweep but Keller is one step ahead there.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Keller lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Burns is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Burns thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Burns perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Keller lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Burns!
Burns is desperately trying to improve his position but Keller has a good base and remains in mount.
Burns has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Burns is striking but Keller is not phased and passes to half guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Burns shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Keller but Keller pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Burns is breathing heavily.

Keller closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Keller lands in his opponent's guard.
Burns tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Burns is trying to keep Keller in close.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Keller avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Burns uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Keller.
Burns is looking to clinch but Keller is avoiding it.
Burns tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Keller paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Keller is pressed up against the cage. Burns has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Keller down to the mat. Keller avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Keller wants to clinch.
Keller fails with an attempt to clinch.
Brett Burns is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Burns darts in trying to clinch

and Keller counters with a shoot takedown. Burns fights it but they end up in guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Burns is on top in guard.
Burns advances position into side control!
Keller dodges the ground and pound from Burns.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Keller tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Keller is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Burns off and has taken his back!
Burns just trying to survive but Keller is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Burns is keeping busy.
Keller controlling the position well here. Burns rolled but Keller kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Burns grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.

Keller is riding his opponent, not letting Burns buck him off.
Burns can't escape the position.
Keller connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Burns to escape the position.
Keller controlling well, preventing Burns from escaping the position.
Keller lands punches and elbows.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Keller is working the ground and pound. Can Burns escape?
Burns is covering up but some of the strikes from Keller are getting through and doing damage.
Keller is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Burns up.
Burns prevents Keller from getting a body triangle.
Keller lands punches and elbows.
Keller lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Keller is working the ground and pound. Can Burns escape?

Burns rolls, trying to escape but Keller keeps control of the position.
Keller slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Keller. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Burns rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Burns is trying to maintain the position but Keller is very close to passing his half guard.

Keller not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Burns with a couple of shots from the bottom there - nothing Keller can't handle though.
Burns could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Keller forces his way into half guard.
Burns wants to improve his position but Keller is controlling well.
Burns has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Keller is working away from the top position though.
Keller is trying to control the action in half guard but Burns is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Chris Keller showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!



Keller closes the distance and clinches.
Burns tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Keller just stands there and leans against the cage.
Keller has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Burns is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Keller avoids the elbow strike from Burns, against the cage.

Burns misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Keller.
Burns tries to land knees in the clinch but Keller avoids the damage to the body.
Burns creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Keller darts in and clinches Burns up against the cage.

Burns is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Keller is keeping busy.

Come on Keller - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Burns has Keller pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Burns pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Keller tumbling to the mat - Burns dives into Keller's guard.
Burns keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Keller's head.

Burns is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Keller has managed to free his arm - good work.

Keller seems to have recovered his senses.

Burns stands up out of Keller's guard for a moment - Keller manages to land a nice upkick.

Brett Burns showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Keller has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
