Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hisoka Misawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Coco Nuts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hisoka Misawa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Coco Nuts!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Ren Mimura and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nuts misses with a takedown attempt - Misawa sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Nuts throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Misawa's waist but Misawa gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Nuts off to one side.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nuts has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Misawa is proving hard to escape from.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Nuts should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Coco Nuts seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Misawa shoots for a double leg takedown but Nuts sprawls well. He's pushed Misawa's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Misawa bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Nuts's guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Hisoka Misawa will probably get the nod.

Misawa had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Nuts is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Misawa Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Nuts's back instead.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Misawa's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Nuts is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
