Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Thiago Cunha and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carvalho lands with a slapping head kick.
Mauel looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Carvalho darts in and clinches Mauel up against the cage.
Carvalho breaks the clinch.
Mauel tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Carvalho digs a good hook to Mauel's body.
Carvalho throws a leg kick which misses Mauel's front leg but catches the back leg as Mauel tries to avoid it.
Carvalho connects with a nice looking jab.
Mauel takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Carvalho comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Carvalho scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Jab, jab by Carvalho - just one landing.
Mauel gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Carvalho throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Mauel is rocked!
It looks like Josef Mauel has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Carvalho connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Mauel tumbling to the canvas! Carvalho pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Mauel was done - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Rogerio Carvalho!
