The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Penn fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Impaler, pushing him back against the ropes.

Penn successfully pulls guard.
Penn is adopting a defensive guard.
Impaler trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Penn looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Impaler passes into side control.
Impaler wants to stand but Penn is controlling his arm.
Penn struggling a bit here.
Penn tries to bench press Impaler off him but Impaler keeps the position.
Penn gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Penn is trying is best to control the position here.
Penn wants to control the action here but instead Impaler manages to pass to full mount!
Penn is trying desperately to improve position.

Impaler is looking to stand but Impaler has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
Impaler moves to take his opponent's back.

Penn defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Impaler's arms.
Penn turns into Impaler and is now in his guard.

Impaler has his feet on Penn's thighs here. He's pushed Penn off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Penn screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
