Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rye King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cat Seen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rye King has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rye King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Cat Seen!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paulsen Ambrosius and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but King moves away.
King tries to score a power double leg takedown but Seen sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten King somewhat.
Seen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but King manages to avoid it.
Seen throws a right hand that King ducks under and follows up with a left that King also avoids with ease.
King slips a jab and a cross from Seen.
Seen misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Seen throws a right and a left that both miss.

King closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - King lands in his opponent's guard.
King trying to control the position from guard on top but Seen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Seen working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from King.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as King accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

King shoots in and bounces Seen off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
King wants to pass the guard but Seen is keeping the position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Seen throws a lazy right hand but King sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

King looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
King not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
King scoring with strikes to the body and head.
King is looking to take a break and control but Seen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

King is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Seen sees it coming and defends easily.
King throws a strike but Seen avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Seen working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from King.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rye King dominated that round.

Seen throws a series of punches but King avoids them all with ease.
King fails with a takedown attempt.

King closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Seen to the mat! Seen manages to get full guard.
King throwing strikes from guard but Seen blocks nicely.

Seen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

King shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Seen sprawls well. Seen wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. King gets slowly back to his feet.

Seen wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
King shoots in but Seen avoids the takedown attempt easily.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Rye King.
I think King has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
