Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob Builder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Rhino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bob Builder!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ryan Rhino!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Joseph Jones and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rhino uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Builder.
A jab from Builder misses.
Builder misses with a looping left.
Bob Builder seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Builder throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Rhino bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
You can see the frustration on Builder's face as Rhino controls the position.
Rhino tries to move into full mount but can't pass Builder's legs.
Rhino should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Rhino is staying tight to Builder's torso, preventing him from escaping.

Let's hope that Rhino has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Builder wants to get back to his feet but Rhino drags him back down.
Rhino tries to move to mount but Builder blocks the move with his legs.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Builder is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Rhino controlling the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Rhino connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Builder some visible discomfort.
Rhino controls the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Despite being in the dominant position, Ryan Rhino just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Builder jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.


It looks like Ryan Rhino has been cut.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The fighters circling - Builder throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Builder throws a looping overhand right but Rhino ducks down to avoid it.
Builder misses with a looping right.
Builder is breathing heavily.

Rhino feints and as Builder raises his hands in defense, Rhino changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ryan Rhino dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Ryan Rhino's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Builder pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Builder misses with a looping left.
Builder throws an overhand right that lands on Rhino's shoulder, as Rhino tries to avoid the shot.
Rhino displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Builder throws out the jab.
Builder is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Rhino.
Builder misses the jab.

Builder tries to keep at a distance but Rhino has taken the fight into the clinch.
Builder dodges an elbow strike from Rhino.
Builder gets underhooks to prevent Rhino's takedown attempt.
Builder prevents the takedown attempt.
Builder managing to block the knees to the body from Rhino.
Rhino drops down looking for an ankle pick but Builder pulls his leg out and moves away.
Bob Builder has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Rhino.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rhino ducks under a wild hook from Builder.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Rhino shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Rhino wants to free his trapped foot but Builder is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Builder is looking to escape.
Rhino is controlling the pace.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Rhino lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Rhino looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Rhino controlling the action here.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Builder won't allow Rhino to pass to mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ryan Rhino showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!



Rhino fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Builder, pushing him back against the cage.
Builder tries to circle away but Rhino has him pinned against the cage.
Builder is pressed up against the cage. Rhino has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Builder down to the mat. Builder avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Ryan Rhino is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Rhino scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Rhino keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Builder.
Rhino lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Rhino scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Rhino staying calm.
Rhino tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Rhino is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Bob Builder has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Rhino prevents Builder from escaping the position.
Rhino takes a little break here. Builder wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Builder is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Rhino is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Despite being in the dominant position, Ryan Rhino just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Rhino feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Rhino passes Builder's left leg - he's now in half guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Ryan Rhino comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Rhino winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
