The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers slips under a jab from Jackson.
Jackson throws a jab when Rogers was well out of range.
Rogers ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Rogers closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jackson to the mat! Jackson manages to get full guard.

Rogers is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Jackson wants to get back to his feet but Rogers is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jackson is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Rogers is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Jackson to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Jackson shrugs it off.
You get the feeling that Jackson really doesn't like being in this position too much.
