The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Markiewicz throws a series of punches but Capture moves out of range.

Capture scores a takedown into full mount!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Capture cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Capture get's back to his feet.
Markiewicz stuffs the takedown attempt from Capture. Capture gets slowly back to his feet.

Capture closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Capture lands in his opponent's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Capture wants to control from the top but Markiewicz keeps moving.

Capture prevents Markiewicz from getting back to his feet.

Capture decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Capture takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Capture lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Markiewicz cracks Capture with a right hand to the side of the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Capture drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Capture wants to pass the guard but Markiewicz is keeping the position.
Markiewicz is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Capture throws a strike but Markiewicz rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Capture has his feet on Markiewicz's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Markiewicz tries to close the distance and clinch up but Capture swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Capture jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Markiewicz walks away with a smile on his face. Capture gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Markiewicz lunges at Capture with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Capture's hand.
Markiewicz fakes the leg kick and cracks Capture in the body.
Capture looks gassed!

and Capture holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Markiewicz escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Capture blocks a head kick by Markiewicz.
Capture slips a jab and a cross from Markiewicz.
Terry Capture seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Markiewicz throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Capture crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
