Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joe Regan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bader Cier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cier has chosen Elephant Man ft. Ding Dong - Dip Again as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Regan shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Cier sprawls well. Cier wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Regan gets slowly back to his feet.
Regan tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Cier was well out of range. Poor timing from Regan.

Cier tries to clinch there but Regan circles away.

Regan shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Cier is trying to defend but Regan finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Bader Cier is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Regan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cier keeps working.
Regan lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Cier down.
Cier seems a little lost for a moment, as Regan dominates the positioning.
Regan seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Cier for as long as he can get away with.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
The referee asks Regan politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Regan prefers to stall for the moment though.

Regan is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Cier will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Regan's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Regan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cier's waist but Cier gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Regan off to one side.
