PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joseph Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roberto Calheiros (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Calheiros has chosen Welcome to the Jungle as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown lands a body shot.
Calheiros shoots in and drives through. Brown sprawls well.

Calheiros changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Brown tries to avoid it but Calheiros manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Brown to the ground. Brown escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Calheiros wants to free his trapped foot but Brown is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Brown fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Calheiros looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
