Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yosuke Okazaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mohammed Yahya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yahya comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Bones kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yosuke Okazaki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mohammed Yahya!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yahya shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Okazaki dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Yahya. That did some damage!
Yahya shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Okazaki sprawls well. Okazaki wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Yahya gets slowly back to his feet.
Okazaki tries to clinch there but Yahya circles away.
Yahya shoots in and drives through. Okazaki sprawls well.
Yosuke Okazaki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mohammed Yahya.
Yahya looks for a takedown but Okazaki sprawls well.
Okazaki throws a good cross that connects.
Yahya looks gassed!
Okazaki tries to clinch up but Yahya circles away and keeps his distance.
Okazaki motions for Yahya to come forward. Okazaki throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Yahya misses with a takedown attempt - Okazaki sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Okazaki, as that shot connected.

Yahya fails to land the takedown.
Okazaki lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
No joy there for Okazaki, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Yahya shoots in for a takedown but Okazaki shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Yahya ducks under a wild hook from Okazaki.
Yahya takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Okazaki misses with a hook.
Okazaki closes the distance and pushes Yahya back into the cage.
Okazaki escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Okazaki forces Yahya back against the cage and clinches.
Okazaki scores a nice knee to the body.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Okazaki makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Okazaki misses with an elbow strike.
Okazaki gets control of Yahya's arms and successfully pulls guard. Okazaki will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Yahya stops Okazaki from standing up.
Yahya trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Okazaki wants to sweep here but Yahya controlling him for the moment.
Yahya won't allow Okazaki to get back to his feet.
Okazaki is trying to control the position but Yahya postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Okazaki keeping moving, preventing Yahya from controlling successfully.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Okazaki misses with an attempted mid kick.

Okazaki pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Okazaki tries to clinch there but Yahya circles away.
Okazaki looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Yahya closes the distance and clinches up with Okazaki, looking for a takedown. Yahya pushes Okazaki against the cage but Okazaki circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Yahya is trying desperately to land a takedown but Okazaki is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Yahya.
Okazaki throws a solid leg kick but Yahya takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Okazaki.
Okazaki tries to clinch there but Yahya circles away.
Yahya slips under a jab.
Okazaki gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Okazaki unloads a knee to the mid-section. Yahya lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Yahya can't get the takedown.
Okazaki misses with a hook from the clinch.
Yahya keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Okazaki's efforts to push away.
Yahya wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Okazaki has him pressed against the cage.
Okazaki lands an elbow that stopped Yahya in his tracks for a moment.
Yahya is working for takedown but Okazaki is calmly controlling the position for now.
Okazaki throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Okazaki is trying to maintain a safe position but Yahya gets an underhook and turns Okazaki into the cage.
Okazaki connects with a knee to the head.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Okazaki landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Okazaki pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Okazaki breaks the clinch.
Yahya slips a jab and a cross from Okazaki.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
A bone on bone clash there as Yahya blocks the leg kick.
Okazaki closes the distance and pushes Yahya back into the cage.
Yahya gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Okazaki regains guard.
Okazaki knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Yahya on the ground.
Yahya stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Okazaki swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Okazaki avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Yahya slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Yahya working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Yahya tries to move into full mount but can't pass Okazaki's legs.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Okazaki sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Okazaki looks like he's trying to stand up.
Okazaki keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Okazaki has one foot on Yahya's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
A head kick misses from Okazaki.
Yahya closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Okazaki did well to prevent Yahya getting side control.
Okazaki is looking to escape.
Yahya is trying to control the action in half guard but Okazaki is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Okazaki is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Yahya is looking for a kimura here.
Okazaki is looking for a sweep. Yahya is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Okazaki is trying to stand.
Okazaki is not content to let Yahya control the position.

Yahya works his foot free and advances to mount.
Yahya prevents Okazaki from getting the reversal.
Yahya takes Okazaki's back.
Yahya lands shots from the back.
Yahya has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Okazaki.
Yahya wants to control but Okazaki is keeping busy.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Yahya lands a shot to the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Yahya has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Okazaki has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Yahya looking to break Okazaki's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Okazaki remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Yahya will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Yahya has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Okazaki.
Yahya is persistently looking for the submission but Okazaki is defending it well.

Mohammed Yahya showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Okazaki misses with a jab, cross combination.
Okazaki throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Yahya.
Yahya takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Yahya darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Yahya is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Okazaki!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Yahya working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Yahya tries to control but Okazaki wriggling away.
Yahya moves to back control.
Yahya wants to control the position but Okazaki frees himself and scrambles - Yahya manages to regain control in side control.
Yahya stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Yahya shoots in and bounces Okazaki off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Yahya pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Okazaki is keeping the position for now.
Okazaki throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Yahya is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Yahya advances position into side control!
Okazaki tries to buck Yahya off but Yahya is having none of it.
Okazaki misses with an elbow from the bottom.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Yahya closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Yahya lands in his opponent's guard.
Yahya advances position into side control!
Okazaki trying to remain calm as Yahya controls from the top position.
And that's the end of the fight!
Mohammed Yahya comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Yahya has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
