Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lae Praye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mateus Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Praye comes to the cage accompanied by Carry That Weight. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Praye lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Praye fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gracie manages to avoid it.
Gracie takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Praye throws a series of strikes that have Gracie backpedaling.
Praye ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gracie moves away.

Praye throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gracie.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown but Praye shows good takedown defense.

Lae Praye seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gracie shoots for a double leg takedown but Praye sprawls well. He's pushed Gracie's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Praye pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

A big strike lands for Praye! That's really hurt Gracie and he's turned his back - Praye keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Praye jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
