Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark David (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edzard Ling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). David comes to the cage accompanied by Eluveitie - Calling The Rain. Ling is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Gemüseeintopf. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Edzard Ling!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ling leaves David with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
David throws a shot to the body.
Ling circles away from the clinch attempt.
David lands the left hand.
David is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ling.
David throws a body punch but Ling moves out of range.
David has a takedown stuffed.
Ling throws an overhand right that lands on David's shoulder, as David tries to avoid the shot.

Ling misses the shot to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nice defenses there by David.
Ling thows a left - swing and a miss!

David looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Ling!
David is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Ling can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
David has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
David wants to control the pace but Ling is squirming around nicely.

David prevents Ling from getting the reversal.

David throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Ling because David loaded up on that one.
David misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
David throws some wild stikes that Ling manages to avoid easily.
Ling holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as David tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Poor strikes thrown by David there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Ling is looking to improve his position but David isn't that keen on the idea.
The referee warns Ling that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
David unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Ling wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! David celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
