Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Lidell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Vasquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lidell comes into the arena with Year Of The Dog...Again blaring out of the sound system. Tony Vasquez will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice shot lands for Vasquez.
Chuck Lidell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lidell tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Vasquez swivels and escapes.
Vasquez tries to clinch but Lidell is having none of it.
Vasquez stuffs the takedown attempt from Lidell. Lidell gets slowly back to his feet.
Lidell shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chuck Lidell. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lidell shoots in and drives through. Vasquez sprawls well.
Vasquez moves out of range as Lidell strikes.
Left hook, right uppercut from Vasquez.
Lidell throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Vasquez counters with a huge left! Lidell is in big trouble! He's backing up but Vasquez isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Lidell from any more damage. A dominating finish by Vasquez!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tony Vasquez!
