Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jersey Grove (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Palmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grove comes to the cage accompanied by Hawai'i 78. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grove misses with a series of wild punches.
A jab from Grove does it's job there.
Palmer drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Grove gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Grove is looking for a triangle here but Palmer uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Grove is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Palmer is controlling him well.
Palmer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Grove. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Grove struggling a bit here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Grove scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Jersey Grove seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Palmer looks gassed!
Nice takedown defense from Grove. No joy for Palmer on that attempt.
Grove misses with a body kick.
Grove stalks Palmer and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Palmer's face. Palmer staggers backwards, shaken.
Palmer walks into a straight right hand from Grove.
Grove stuns Palmer with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Grove scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Palmer takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Jersey Grove is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Grove misses with the combination.
Palmer gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Grove lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Palmer circles away quickly and effectively.

Grove lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Palmer slips a jab and a cross from Grove.
Grove displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.

Palmer is rocked!
Grove connects with a right hand. Palmer shakes it off.
A lazy left from Grove finds it's target.
Palmer is still on wobbly legs! Can Grove finish him?
Good exchange - Grove coming out on top.
Palmer closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Grove works Palmer's body with a nice hook.
Palmer seems to have recovered his senses.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Palmer walks into a left hand.
Grove connects with the punch.
Grove grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Palmer takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Grove cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
