The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salo slips a jab and a cross from Bombada.
Bombada thows a body shot but no joy.
Bombada misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bombada lands with a hook. Salo tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

It looks like Mikko Salo has been cut.
The fighters circling - Salo throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Salo dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Bombada. That did some damage!
Salo misses with a body shot.
Bombada blocks a leg kick.
Bombada misses with a double jab.
Salo throws out a loose jab but Bombada uses good head movement to avoid it.

Bombada throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Salo throws a push kick but Bombada slaps the foot to one side.
A looping hook to the body misses from Salo. Bombada does a little dance to reset his feet.
Salo avoids a punch combination nicely.
Bombada keeps the fight on the outside.
Bombada swats away the attempt to clinch by Salo.
Bombada lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Bombada throws a looping overhand right but Salo ducks down to avoid it.
A swing and a miss from Salo.
Champ Bombada is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Salo scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Bombada throws a right hand that Salo ducks under and follows up with a left that Salo also avoids with ease.
Salo slips a jab and a cross from Bombada.
Salo throws a looping overhand right but Bombada ducks down to avoid it.
Salo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bombada's waist but Bombada gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Salo off to one side.
Bombada leaves Salo with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Bombada misses with a double jab.
Salo is looking to clinch.

Salo rushes Bombada and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Salo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Salo throws a leg kick but Bombada moved away.
Bombada connects with a superb combination that knocks Salo out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Bombada before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Salo!
