Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Barnie Bradstone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dolly Parton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parton has chosen 9 to 5 by Dolly Parton as his entrance music. Barnie Bradstone is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Barnie Bradstone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dolly Parton!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Matheus Silva and Emerson Jorge.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bradstone thows a left - swing and a miss!

Bradstone gets caught flat footed, as Parton shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Parton must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Parton wants to control from the top but Bradstone keeps moving.
Parton looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Parton trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Parton is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Parton tries to free his leg and advance position but Bradstone is retaining full guard.

Parton working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Bradstone's head.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Parton is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bradstone has his hands on Parton's head, controlling the position.
Parton tries to free his leg and advance position but Bradstone is retaining full guard.
Bradstone looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Bradstone fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Parton is out of range.
Bradstone swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Parton closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Parton wants to take a breather but Bradstone is having none of it.
Parton seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Parton is keen to just control but Bradstone is a slippery customer.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Parton trying to mount his opponent but Bradstone defends it.
Parton perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Bradstone is not content to let Parton control the position.
Parton wants to pass to mount but Bradstone is defending the position.
Parton thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Parton throws a looping overhand right but Bradstone ducks down to avoid it.
Bradstone smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.


It looks like Dolly Parton has been cut.
Parton misses with a looping left.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Parton will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Bradstone throws out a leg kick but Parton moves out of range and Bradstone only half commits.
Some bone on bone action there as Parton checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Parton shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Bradstone manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Bradstone can't keep his opponent in guard - Parton advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Parton wants to pass the guard but Bradstone is defending well.

Parton tries to pass to full mount but Bradstone defends it.
Bradstone tries to roll over but Parton keeps him under control.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The fighters are battling for position here. Bradstone manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Bradstone controls Parton momentarily but Parton frees himself.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Bradstone throws the kick towards the body but Parton avoids it.

Parton shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bradstone's guard.
Bradstone not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Parton stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bradstone swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bradstone manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Parton is trying to escape the mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dolly Parton showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!


A telegraphed takedown attempt from Parton is defended easily by Bradstone.
Bradstone lands with a slapping head kick.
Parton changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bradstone tries to avoid it but Parton manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bradstone to the ground. Bradstone escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Bradstone throws a front kick that sends Parton stumbling back into the cage.
Bradstone tries a head kick but it misses.
Bradstone misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bradstone throws a nice looking combination but Parton bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Parton takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Parton moves out of range of the body kick.

Parton fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bradstone sprawls well initially but Parton persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bradstone regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Parton.
Bradstone is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Parton slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Parton working the strikes but Bradstone uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
Bradstone tries to get to full guard but Parton has control of the leg.
Parton throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Bradstone keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Parton is nestled in close to Bradstone, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Parton not doing much here.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Parton connects with a nice short shot to Bradstone's temple.

Parton seems to be looking for submissions.
Parton is trying to control. Bradstone wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Bradstone is looking to improve his position.
Bradstone has a hand on Parton's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Parton takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Barnie Bradstone has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
BOOM! Parton connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Parton lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Parton sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Parton lands with some strikes.
Bradstone tries to lock up and control but Parton gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Dolly Parton.
I've got Parton winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
