PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Miguel Wewito (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lalli Kuutamo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wewito comes to the cage accompanied by Had Enough. Kuutamo has chosen Bad Company as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wewito tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kuutamo paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Kuutamo connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Wewito misses with an uppercut.
Kuutamo lands with a nice body punch.
No joy there for Kuutamo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kuutamo displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Wewito.

Kuutamo fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Wewito sprawls well initially but Kuutamo persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Kuutamo is nestled in close to Wewito, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Wewito is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kuutamo's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kuutamo's back!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Kuutamo throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Wewito was covering up waiting for the punch and Kuutamo finishes the takedown easily into guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Kuutamo winds up and cracks Wewito with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Wewito is looking for a sweep. Kuutamo is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Kuutamo looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Wewito with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Kuutamo is keen to just control but Wewito is a slippery customer.

Wewito really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Kuutamo has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Wewito is in real trouble here. Kuutamo gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Wewito is tapping out! Kuutamo wins by rear naked choke!
