Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Plo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pelle Paniikki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Plo comes to the cage accompanied by ISIS - Grinning Mouths. Paniikki has chosen N'sync - Bye Bye Bye as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Plo jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Plo lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Plo shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Plo was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Paniikki is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Paniikki sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Paniikki tries to roll over but Plo keeps him under control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Plo moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Paniikki.

Plo postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Paniikki looks a forlorn figure.

He's trying desperately to grab hold of Plo around the waist but Plo pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Plo is the winner by TKO!
