Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cabbage Patched (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrei Olenkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Olenkov's choice of entrance music: Championship Swag. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Nard Betker and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Olenkov dives in and grabs Patched's left leg, looking for a takedown. Patched pushes down on Olenkov's head and hops out.
Patched closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Olenkov did well to prevent Patched getting side control.
Olenkov is looking to control Patched's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Olenkov avoid being mounted?
Patched trying to control the action but Olenkov is working from the bottom.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Patched lands a nice short elbow.
Patched is looking to stall here but Olenkov recovers full guard.
Patched with a flurry of punches that miss.
Patched is looking to work some ground and pound but Olenkov has wrist control.
Olenkov pulls Patched in close to prevent any damage.
Olenkov is trying to control the position but Patched postures up.

Patched drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Patched jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Patched slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Patched throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Patched wants to control from the top but Olenkov keeps moving.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Olenkov wants to clinch up but Patched keeps it at a distance.
Patched shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Olenkov tries to clinch but Patched moves out of range.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Patched misses with a body kick.
Patched closes the distance and clinches.
Patched content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Olenkov using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Patched has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Olenkov pressing his opponent against the cage.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Olenkov misses with a knee to the head.
Olenkov prevents a takedown attempt there.
Patched blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Patched turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Patched with the ground and pound but Olenkov regains half guard under the barage of strikes.

Patched has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Olenkov is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Patched lands strikes from half guard.
Olenkov has hold of Patched's hands but Patched slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Olenkov blocking the ground and pound attempt from Patched.
Olenkov misses with some strikes from the bottom.

Patched missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Olenkov moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Patched advances position into side control!

Olenkov tries to buck Patched off but Patched is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Patched trying to control the position but Olenkov is working away.
Patched wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Olenkov, who protects the arm well.
Olenkov struggling a bit here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cabbage Patched dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Olenkov tries for a takedown but Patched circles away easily
and Patched counters with a takedown into side control.
Patched lands an elbow.
Olenkov is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Patched is controlling him well.
Patched lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Patched lands a strong strike to the head of Olenkov. That's dazed him! Patched looking to finish here. Olenkov is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Patched lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
