The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lidell lands a big right hand that sends Rivera crashing to the mat! Lidell stays standing though and waves Rivera back to his feet!

Rivera is rocked!

It looks like Mountain Rivera has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rivera misses with a takedown attempt - Lidell sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Oh Rivera is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rivera throws a head kick but Lidell moves out of range.
Rivera seems to have got his legs back now.
Lidell circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Rivera tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Lidell wins by KO!
