The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Lima checks a leg kick.
Lima takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

It looks like Dries Gordos has been cut.

Gordos scores with a takedown into Lima's guard.

Lima has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gordos can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Gordos might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Lima kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Lima pushes Gordos away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Gordos gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Lima cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
