PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kristian Andreassen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and raul hernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Andreassen has managed to clinch.
Andreassen gets underhooks to prevent hernandez's takedown attempt.
hernandez has Andreassen pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Andreassen manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
hernandez wants a takedown but no success here.
Kristian Andreassen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of raul hernandez.
hernandez drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
hernandez lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Andreassen's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Andreassen has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics hernandez uses from the top position.

hernandez got a little sloppy there for a moment and Andreassen has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, hernandez has managed to get both his arms back between Andreassen's legs - danger averted.
hernandez wants to control from the top but Andreassen keeps moving.

Andreassen working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. hernandez doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Andreassen is tightening it up a little... hernandez has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! hernandez reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! hernandez taps out! nice BJJ there by Andreassen!
